Regarding changes in COVID-19 infection countermeasures from April 2024.

From April 2024、COVID-19 will transition to the regular medical care provision system. The Hokkaido Government has released information regarding basic infection control measures and specific changes to the medical care provision system. Please check the flyer for details.

ตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน 2024 เป็นต้นไป จะมีการเปลี่ยนไปใช้ระบบการรักษาพยาบาลตามปกติสำหรับการติดเชื้อโคโรนาไวรัสสายพันธุ์ใหม่ ทางฮอกไกโดได้ประกาศข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับมาตรการควบคุมการติดเชื้อขั้นพื้นฐานและการเปลี่ยนแปลงเฉพาะในระบบการดูแลรักษาทางการแพทย์ กรุณาตรวจสอบใบปลิวสำหรับข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม

For those who wish to receive the COVID-19 vaccination

Publicly funded (= free) initial and booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine will end on March 31st 2024. If you wish to receive a free vaccination, please do so before the end of this period.

From April 1, 2024, local governments will administer routine vaccinations in fall and winter for those aged 65 or older, and those 60 - 64 years of age who meet certain conditions. If you are not eligible for routine vaccinations but would like to be vaccinated, you can receive voluntary vaccinations at your own expense, regardless of the time of year.

Mask Use Guidance starting from 13 March, 2023

Government guidance regarding mask usage in Japan is changing from March 13, 2023. The Headquarters for COVID-19 and Other Emerging Infectious Disease Control at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has announced a “Revision of mask usage policy.”


La sede de control del coronavirus y otras enfermedades infecciosas del Ministerio de Salud, Trabajo y Bienestar Social, ha anunciado “Revisión de la manera de pensar en cuanto al uso del tapabocas”. Es así que a partir del 13 de marzo, las relgas del uso del tapabocas será modificado.

¿Ha realizado el préstamo del “Fondo de emergencia para gastos menores y Fondo general de ayuda”?

Se les estará enviando una carta de aviso, a todos aquellos que inician la devolución del “Fondo de emergencia para gastos menores y Fondo general de ayuda” a partir del 26 de enero del 2024 en adelante.
El Consejo de Bienestar Social de Hokkaido ha elaborado una guía a cerca de los documentos que se les estará enviando y su contenido. Esperamos que le sirva de ayuda.

For those who received the Special Loan Fund/Monetary Assistance for Everyday Life Loan

Notifications will be mailed to those who have received the Monetary Assistance for Everyday Life/Special Loan funds, and who are scheduled to start repayments from January 26, 2023.

For reference, the Hokkaido Council of Social Welfare has created a guide to the kinds of documents being sent and an explanation of the content. Please refer to this as necessary.
