According to the revision of the Civil Code, the legal age of adulthood has been lowered from 20 to 18, effective as of April 1st, 2022.

La mayoría de edad se ha rebajado a los 18 años

A corde a la revisión del Código Civil, la mayoría de edad ha sido rebajado desde los 20 años a los 18 años. Este cambio ha sido aplicado desde el 1 de Abril del 2022.

El Hokkaido Foreign Resident Support Center ha creado un infográfico basado en la información presentada por el Ministerio de Justicia y la Oficina de Servicios migratorios de Japón, para ayudar a entender los cambios que se presentan al rebajar la mayoría de edad.
