On May 14th, The Organization for Technical Intern Training (OTIT) has posted a leaflet on the procedures and rights for Technical Intern Trainees regarding pregnancy and giving birth on their website. A summary of the leaflet is as follows:

・In Japan, dismissal due to pregnancy is forbidden by law.
・Sending and supervising organizations cannot force you to return to your home country due to pregnancy
・If it seems like you are going to be dismissed or forced to return to your home country due to your pregnancy, please contact the Organization for Technical Intern Training (OTIT), and they will support you.
