The snow is finally melting and the roads are clear - the best season for driving is here! We’re sure that you are already taking care to drive safely, but do you sometimes take a peek at your phone?

Traffic accidents caused by distracted driving, when one either talks on or looks at their mobile device while driving, have been on the rise year after year. In response to this increase, the Road Traffic Act was revised in December 2019, setting tougher penalties for distracted drivers.

If you need to use your smartphone or mobile device, be sure to pull over and stop your car in a safe spot first!
